Welcome and thank you for choosing Bells&Bunting Event Childcare, here to assist with any childcare need at your big day or special event!

Our job, to keep your little guests safe, happy and entertained, giving both you and your big guests the freedom to relax, enjoy the special occasion and dare we say it… let your hair down, with the confidence your little ones are in the safe hands of qualified childcare professionals. 

Bells&Bunting Event Childcare grew organically. Rebecca and Victoria, two sisters, have been working in the childcare industry for many years (and still do!). Highly experience childcare professionals, most importantly, they share a love for caring for and providing little ones and young children with lots of fun, playful and magical experiences. 

We understand you want your little guests to be apart of your special day but naturally, events like weddings can be busy for children not to mention for the grown ups in charge of them, this is where the Bells&Bunting team can help!

Whether your after an extra pair of hands (and eyes) on hand throughout the day so you can relax and enjoy the magical moment, a little babysitting so that you can party past bedtime or a child friendly space at your venue with activities specifically for your younger guests to enjoy, we have you covered!

Rebecca

Founder Managing Director

With over 10 years experience working with children of all ages, Rebecca’s career began as a fully qualified childcare practitioner working in settings in the South West. Her talent and enthusiasm in caring for young children however, soon began taking her much further afield with Rebecca holding vast experience as a residential supervisor and private nanny both around the UK and abroad.

Rebecca is also the founder of Bells&Bunting’s sister company CoCreate Academy, where she delivers her ever so popular Children’s dance, yoga, baby massage, sensory and yoga classes as a fully qualified instructor in all of the aforementioned.

It is safe to say providing welcoming, child-led, safe and caring environments for children is high on Rebecca's priorities and as a mum to a little one herself, Rebecca understands from a parents point of view all that is required to leave your little ones in the trusted hands of professionals.

Victoria

Managing Director

Victoria is a Level 4 qualified Advanced Early years Practitioner and has worked with young children all her career to date. In addition to the work she does as a nanny, she currently works in the early years sector and has vast experience working in day nurseries, maintained nursery schools. wrap around care and after school clubs. During her career she has supported and led in baby and toddler rooms right through to Pre-school, up the ranks from nursery nurse to room leader to management.

Her passion and extensive knowledge in early childhood education and development has now taken her on her current pathway to train as a childcare assessor so she can share her passion and high standards of practice and care with others wishing to do so.

When you book with Bells&Bunting Childcare, Rebecca and Victoria will be with you every step of the way! From your first enquiry to the main event, we'll not only help you plan your perfect childcare package but are often the ones delivering all the care and fun on the day! 
Combined Victoria and Rebecca hold an extensive amount of experience and qualifications in childcare which include: full DBS checks, paediatric first aid qualifications, safeguarding and public liability insurance plus several more qualifications in child development, play, children’s wellbeing and the performing arts!

Staffing for childcare packages is based on Ofsted ratios, in the instance several wedding nannies are required at your event rest assure our nannies are:

 
  • Minimum of 3years Experience
  • Enhanced DBS Checked
  • Fully Vetted, ID Checked and Insured

We also operate with ratios which are in line with Ofsted's ratio requirements, you can view these here.

A minimum of six hours is required for all wedding and events.

The Full Creche Service

Only £220

Our pop up creche will have everything needed to keep your younger guests entertained all day long!
We will transform a room or area of your choice into an exciting space filled with fun, laughter and entertainment. We can tailor the décor, theme and even the activities to suit any particular interests or hobbies your younger guests may have!  
Toys, games, fancy dress, props, themed play tents, arts and crafts and soft play are all available.

We’ll even take care of the transition from day to night.

Winding down the activities as bedtime routines will begin to take place for the babies and younger children. For the older children our wind down activities will replace our daytime games/equipment. A movie, books, colouring and softer games can all be provided.

Along with all of the fun toys and equipment we will also include the essentials such as: children's cups, snack bowls, plates, cutlery, bibs and nappy changing mats should your venue not have them already.


*A minimum of two wedding nannies will need to be booked for the creche service to be offered. Please account for the price per hour of nannies in addition to the creche fee. Timings will need to account for set up and pack down of the creche.

The Little Kids Corner

Only £145

Ideal for just a few little guests (around 4 or 5 children) 
We'll create a bespoke mini play set up: Our Little Kids Corner.

We will provide a small selection of toys, games and activities, some mess-free craft items and some comfy seating for your younger guests to enjoy.

Activity Packs

Children's Activity Packs - Each child receives an activity pack complete with craft, bubbles and activities to help keep them entertained during the day and which they can take home and keep. We can organise these to be in line with the colour, theme and style of your wedding. We understand these  are very bespoke and can work to an array of budgets so please do get in touch to discuss this option further.

Our Ratios
To ensure the safety of all babies and children within our care , we operate with ratios which are in line with Ofsted's staffing requirements. 
 
0-2yrs 1  Nanny to every 2 children
2-3yrs 1  Nanny to every 4 Children
4-8yrs 1  Nanny to every 8 Children
8yrs+ 1  Nanny to every 10 Children
FAQS
Where will the creche be set up?
The Creche will be set up in a location of your choice. Ideally this will be in a separate room away from the main wedding itself but still within the wedding grounds. We will require a suitably sized room which reflects the amount of children being catered for.



What do you need to supply for us?
You and/or your venue will need to supply the following: A suitable space for the Creche Area. Tables, chairs and high chairs. Nappies, wipes & disposable nappy bags. Food and drink for us to give to the children unless you request us to provide suitable food boxes for your little ones (for an additional cost).

If booking the Creche service everything else including, child friendly cutlery, plates, snack bowls etc will be provided by us.
If you are booking Nannies only then you will also need to provide a selection of suitable toys for your little ones. Small nanny packs can be available at request, and will include a small selection of games and activity packs to go along with the toys you provide.




Can parents come in and out as they please?
Of course! We will have a sign in/out sheet so should parents wish to take their child out of the creche at any point they will just need to sign their child out. When the child returns a guardian will also sign them back in.


 
Will you make use of outdoor space?
Yes, of course! We will happily take the children outdoors for a run around and some outdoor games/play. This will be weather permitting and subject to the suitability of the venue's outdoor space. Our creche will include some suitable outdoor equipment such as: games, hoops and play parachutes for the children to enjoy.



How will the creche work in the evening and accommodate bedtime routines?
At around 6:15pm wind down time will start. This is where bedtime routines will begin to take place for the babies and younger children. For the older children our wind down activities will replace our daytime games/equipment. A movie, books, colouring and softer games will be provided.




What safety and security procedures will you have in place?
A risk assessment on your venue will be carried out. Every child must have a registration form completed and signed by their parent/guardian. This registration form will hold all necessary information we need to know such as; special needs, allergies, contact information for parents and a list of people who will be allowed to sign the child in/out of the creche on the day. A sign in and out sheet. All nannies hold a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure. We do not allow adults into the creche apart from parents, guardians or hosts.

 

Packing down of the creche
When booking you will need to provide us with an approximate time you would like the creche until. We will require around 30 minutes to pack down the creche.
